The Accessible Tourism Strategy is helping British Columbia hotels become a premier travel destination for people with disabilities, seniors and others with accessibility needs. The Holiday Inn  and Suites North Vancouver participated in an accessibility assessment, which collected information on the services offered for guests with mobility, visual or hearing impairments and achieved top ratings in this assessment.

    • Elevator access to all levels of the hotel
    • Pantry Restaurant, Churchill’s Lounge, Seymour’s Pub located on main level and lobby

    • Height adjusted electrical outlets, light switches and heating / ac controls
    • Dual door view finders or “peepholes” at wheelchair height
    • Rooms with emergency strobe lighting available upon request
    • Fully accessible bathrooms with grab bars, handheld showerheads and wheelchair maneuverability
    • Adjoining rooms for traveling companions
    • Bathtub seats provided in all accessible rooms
    • One guest room bathroom with Roll-in Shower (advance reservation required)
    • Dual interior door latches at wheelchair height
    • Additional equipment available (fee)
    • Transfer bench available upon request
