What to do this Valentine’s Day in Vancouver

If you happen to be spending February 14th or Family Day in Vancouver, here are some great events to share with people you care about.

Valentine’s Day Cruise 

Change it up this year and dine out at sea. On Valentine’s Day, take a cruise aboard one of Spirit Cruises luxurious yachts with Vancouver’s spectacular waterfront as your backdrop. The gourmet buffet is topped with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. While the minimum is a table of two, larger groups can be seated together with advanced notice. After Hours at the Vancouver Aquarium

On the special day, the Vancouver Aquarium will be open late from 6pm to 11pm. Bring a partner or a group of friends to explore the galleries, have a drink and enjoy the special programming. For one night only, see a shark reproduction show, sea otter feed, an adult-themed puppet show and a penguin walk. Food will be available, and tickets are $35 and can be bought online.

Quality Time at Grouse Mountain 

If you’re up for some adventure but also have a sweet tooth - Grouse Mountain has two events you can’t pass up! Take a one-hour guided snowshoe tour and end with your choice of either a chocolate fondue, or the Canadian classic, s’mores. The Mountain also offers a five-course Valentine’s Day dinner proving that there ‘ain’t no mountain high enough’ that will keep the love away.
