We want to assure our guests that the Holiday Inn & Suites North Vancouver is taking every possible step to protect our guests and staff and actively following the guidelines of the provincial, federal and World Health Organization.

Both staff and guests are strongly encouraged to socially distance themselves while onsite at the Holiday Inn & Suites North Vancouver. Only two (2) people at a time will be allowed in an elevator and/or limited to one household at a time. Masks are now mandatory in all common areas of the hotel, including our lobby, hallways, fitness and laundry room and pool.
Protective barriers have been installed at our reception desk to protect both our staff and our guests from transmission of COVID-19.
Enhanced Cleaning in Public Areas
Cleaning of any high touch hard, non porous surfaces will be completed multiple times per day with an emphasis on front desk check-in counters, bell desks, luggage carts, elevators and elevator buttons, door handles, public bathrooms, vending machines, ice machines, room keys and locks, gym equipment, pool, sauna and guest laundry room.
Enhanced Cleaning in Guest Rooms
All guest rooms must be fully cleaned and disinfected upon guest check out before. To allow for proper air exchange within rooms, staff will wait 3 hours after a guest has left for housekeeping. Cleaners will practice diligent hand hygiene before entering and after leaving each guest room. Fresh gloves must be used for each room. A thorough cleaning and disinfection of all hard surfaces will be completed including special attention to any high touch items such as toilets, sinks, faucets, doorknobs, light switches, phones, remote controls, fridges and garbage cans.

Reduced Guest In-Room Contact
Housekeeping service is offered to each guest to choose the service level they feel most comfortable with (ie: daily, e, 5 or 7 days). If guests choose to limit in room service, we will ensure that an adequate supply of clean towels, toilet paper, hand soap and shampoo, coffee and other amenities are available at any time during their stay. All deliveries are contact-less and left outside the guest room door. Any garbage left outside the doors will be removed daily.
COVID-19 Screening for Guests & Staff
All staff will be asked the COVID-19 assessment questions at the start of their shift. If any staff member indicates that they feel ill, they are advised to stay or go home immediately. At the time of arrival, front desk staff will provide each guest with a list of COVID-19 questions, which they must read and acknowledge. If they indicate Yes for self isolation, being ill or travelling outside of the country, our team will follow steps as outlined by our Provincial Health guidelines.
PPE for Staff & Guests
PPE, including non-surgical masks and gloves, will be provided to staff members. Complimentary masks, gloves and personal sized hand-sanitizer are provided to all guests upon request.
Paperless Check Outsg
We will be offering a paperless check-out experience and encouraging guests to provide an email address to receive their receipts with no contact.
Safe Distance Meetings With or Without Food
Meetings are held with a maxim of 15 - 20 guests based on the setup requested. Set up of tables and chairs for meetings or social gatherings follow strict guidelines to ensure social distancing is maintained. ANy food and beverages are served to the attendees - no buffet or self-service option is currently offered. We ensure that all entry doors have hand sanitizer stations and staff members wear masks and gloves at all times.
