Forbidden Vancouver presents Lost Souls of Gastown

Experience the Gastown neighbourhood in an entirely new way with the “Lost Souls of Gastown” tour. Running Monday through Saturday, from Sept. 3 to Nov. 30, “step inside a world of murder, revenge, and true grit in a dramatic history of Victorian Gastown.” This one-of-a-kind performance-theatre experience departs from Cathedral Square at 8 p.m. and offers a thrilling night you won’t forget. Vancouver International Improv Festival 2019

For the final week of September, check out one of North America’s longest-running improv festivals. Shake up your regular routine and say “yes” to 40 different performances that showcase the city’s improv scene. Itching to try it out yourself? Participate in public workshops and test your skills! The Vancouver International Improv Festival will run from Sept. 24 to 29 at The Cultch in East Vancouver, don’t forget to secure your tickets in advance! 

UBC Apple Festival 2019 

The perfect fall activity for family and friends is the UBC Apple Festival 2019 at the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) botanical garden centre. Spend the weekend - Oct. 19 and 20 -  learning everything about apples, from rare and unusual varieties to common favourites. Don’t forget to also dabble in apple cider demonstrations and satisfy that sweet tooth with some apple pie!
