Holiday magic comes to Vancouver in November

Whether it’s dazzling lights or dazzling performances, prepare to be whisked away by all the magical events coming to Vancouver in November 2019:

Lumiere Vancouver 2019

From Nov. 1 to 3, 2019, prepare to light up your night when Lumiere Vancouver returns for its sixth year. Each night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Vancouver’s downtown and West End neighbourhoods will dazzle with more than 25 interactive art installations, each with their own different theme. Free Vancouver Trolley shuttles will be available to transport viewers between each site adding to the overall experience of the lights festival. There will also be a free outdoor dance party, hosted by Public Disco, to end off each night at Jim Deva Plaza in Davie Village. Cirque du Soleil Luzia 

Cirque de Soleil, one of the most well-known circus producers in the world, is also Canadian! The Montreal-based group has been thrilling audiences for over 35 years and will bring their production of “Luzia” to Vancouver from Oct. 3 to Dec. 29, 2019. Due to popular demand, they’ve extended their stay in the city by three weeks and now is your chance to score some tickets. The show, Luzia, presents a “waking dream of Mexico”, performing traditional and modern representations of the country at the Concord Pacific Place. Tickets are available online now.

CandyTown Outdoor Christmas Festival

Is it too soon to kick off the holidays? The Yaletown Business Improvement Association (YBIA) doesn’t think so! On Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, YBIA will host its annual free outdoor holiday festival, CandyTown, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Mainland Street will be transformed into a winter wonderland and shopper’s paradise. Amid the candy canes and decorations, you can find your special someone a delightful gift at any of the local vendors or speciality markets fully stocked with seasonal goodies. This event is free to attend, so all you need to do is keep track of all the featured events taking place!
