Vancouver Folk Music Festival

From July 19 to 21, Jericho Beach Park will transform into the hub of some of the world’s finest traditional and contemporary folk and roots music. Every year over 30,000 people come to the park to experience music from more than 40 international, national and local acts. Every day there is something to see, and special for this year - the circus is coming to town! CircusWest will be at the Little Folks Village this year so you can try your hand at juggling, tightwire, and hand stilts. But aside from the festival food and fun activities, the highlight is the music. This festival is known for introducing acts and the lists of artists whose careers get their big break after this festival is numerous. Be sure to check out the main stage schedule, but also keep your ears and hearts open for new acts.

This stand-up comedian recently was the star of her own Netflix romantic comedy and her two Netflix comedy specials have been critically revered since they premiered.
