Summer is winding down, but the fun isn’t over. Check out some of the events happening in Vancouver this September!

Vancouver International Film Festival

From September 26 to October 11, 2019, immerse yourself in the “VIFF” or The Vancouver International Film Festival experience. The Festival presents some of the world’s best cinema alongside talks and events that add to the viewer experience. Ticket packs and passes are available, allowing you to see more than one movie and take in the entire festival. Before heading out on the town, check out the VIFF 2019 line-up for what movies catch your eye.

Vancouver Wizard Inspired Beer, Cider and Cocktail Festival

Fans of witches, wizards, the magical realm, and everything in between should not miss this one-night event! On October 4, 2019, Roundhouse Mews in the heart of Yaletown will transform into a wizard-inspired beer, cider and cocktail festival. Harry Potter fans can rejoice and sip on specialty themed drinks such as butterscotch beer and “polijuice potion,” or take a walk through a cobblestone alley to choose their wand. Costumes are strongly encouraged with plenty of photo opportunities. This event is bound to sell out so buy your tickets right away!

Riverfest 2019

Running for a week from Sept. 18 to 21, 2019, the Riverfest is back! Hosted by the Port of Vancouver, the festival is filled with free family fun and a great way to enjoy a fall day along the Fraser River. Don’t miss the main festival event on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 am to 4 pm, where you can explore a diverse range of exhibitions, children's activities, and live music. Check out more what the festival has in store on the Riverfest 2019 page.
