It could well be time to get on your bike, because with the warmer weather just around the corner, Grouse Mountain has announced the launch of some exciting Scenic Mountain Biking trails.

Operated by the Sea to Sky Adventure Company, you will now be able to experience a taste of one of the North Shore’s most well-known pastimes through guided tours or self-directed trail exploration.

This new cross-country style experience – which is set to launch this June - uses pedal-assist bikes and provides a scenic introduction to the sport for travellers who have little or no previous mountain biking experience.

You can enjoy a two-hour guided tour to see scenic viewpoints with an expert guide. Alternatively, you can rent pedal-assist bikes or full suspension pedal bikes to access the two marked trails on your own.

So get on your bike and explore the spectacular lookouts and viewpoints on state-of-the-art bikes from renowned bike maker, Trek, this summer. The two highly-approachable and well-marked trails provide the perfect place to breathe in the fresh air and take in the amazing mountain landscape.

Two hour bike rentals will cost $49, while four-hour rentals cost $69. A tour hour tour costs $99, including the cost of bike rental.
After a great day of exploring the beautiful trails on Grouse Mountains, make your way to the Holiday Inn North Vancouver. Nestled in the foothills of the North Shore Mountains, it’s a great accommodation option for those who like to get out and about and explore Vancouver’s gorgeous North Shore. Enjoy complimentary parking and Wi-Fi, have a dip in the heated indoor pool or hot tub, or sample an ice cold beer in Churchill’s Lounge or Seymour’s Pub. Perfect after a day in the saddle!
